Rishita has graduated in physiotherapy from university of Mumbai, India. She specializes in diagnosis and treatment of back pains of various causes using McKenzie’s concepts, developed in New Zealand. Her core expertise lie in rehabilitation of patients with ankylosing spondylitis and other rheumatic and orthopedic conditions. She believes in evidence based practice to be in par with international standards of treatment. She has undertaken certified workshops in Mulligan concept of Mobilization and Kinesiology Taping and is well trained in Neurodynamics, Pilates and Kinetic control concepts.

Prior to working in IRAC, Rishita has worked in a spine specialty rehabilitation center in Mumbai, where she has worked extensively with David Spine concept (developed in Finland) to treat back pain.

She also excels in manual therapy skills involving myofascial release, trigger point release and mobilization. She lays a great emphasis on posture correction, ergonomic and lifestyle changes with the aim of long term betterment and not just temporary relief.

She has special interest in rehabilitation of ankylosing spondylitis wherein her primary focus areas include:
